Weatherford is hiring a Manufacturing Production Scheduler for our Wallingford CT facility. The Manufacturing Scheduler will be working within a supportive inclusive team in a fastpaced environment. Weatherford provides training excellent benefits and fantastic career progression.
The Manufacturing Scheduler is responsible for ensuring the timely of production activities on ship floor by creating monitoring and adjusting the production schedule in line with demand and capacity constraints.

Roles & Responsibilities

QUALITY
Responsible for being familiar with the Companys Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherfords Management System
Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement
OPERATIONS
Date manage new orders as per procedure
Revise pick date ship date and ship date as per production meetings
Raise work order communicate with production/workshop/buyers/machine shop to ensure all necessary work is completed
Identify key list of orders and chase up with buyers and planners on these daily
Communicate with vendors for key purchase order items as well
Any other tasks requested by the planning supervisor/manager or the manufacturing manager
COMMUNICATION
Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations roles and responsibilities to their reports
FINANCIAL
All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses
Costs incurred should be within approved budget processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure
PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT

Experience & Education
REQUIRED
710 years planning/scheduling experience in an MRPdriven manufacturing environment.
College degree in business or technical discipline preferred
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
REQUIRED
Strong organization and timemanagement skills.
Ability to work as part of crossfunctional teams in a dynamic environment.
Good understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) shop floor work order and routings.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Ability to effectively interface and collaborate with all departments to ensure positive results.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Power BI is a plus.
Working knowledge of JDE or other major Enterprise systems.
