Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Research and Development (R&D) Manager specializing in Electronic Engineering Products designs. The ideal candidate will lead our R&D team in the design development and innovation of Electrical Test & Measurement Products. The R&D Manager will be responsible for driving the entire product development lifecycle ensuring the timely delivery of highquality cuttingedge electronic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a crossfunctional team of electronic engineers designers and other technical experts.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment encouraging continuous learning and skill development.
- Set clear objectives provide guidance and evaluate team performance.
Project Management:
- Develop and execute project plans for the successful delivery of Electrical Test & Measurement Products.
- Coordinate with various departments including marketing manufacturing and quality assurance to ensure seamless project .
- Monitor and manage project budgets timelines and resources effectively.
Product Development:
- Oversee the conceptualization design and development of electronic test & measurement products ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and competitive products.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to bring new product ideas from concept to market.
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs preferences and market trends.
- Analyse and interpret technical data research findings and customer feedback to make informed decisions.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that all electronic engineering products comply with relevant industry standards regulations and certifications.
- Collaborate with legal and regulatory affairs teams to navigate and address compliance issues.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the R&D budget ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Work closely with procurement to source materials and components required for product development.
Communication:
- Effectively communicate project updates timelines and challenges to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create product documentation marketing materials and sales support.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronic Engineering or a related field; advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D. is preferred.
- Proven experience in electronic product development with a minimum of 8 years in a leadership role.
- Indepth knowledge of electronic engineering design principles technologies and manufacturing processes.
