FullTime Permanent Position
A thriving secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to join their successful Science department. This is a fulltime permanent opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a supportive and collaborative learning environment. The school is looking for a committed Biology Teacher.
What We Seek:
- Qualified Teacher: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven ability to teach Biology at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Key Stage 5 (ALevel Biology) experience is desirable but not essential.
- Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for Biology and a commitment to student success.
- Skills: Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Teamwork: A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the department.

Responsibilities of the Biology Teacher:
- Planning preparing and delivering engaging and challenging Biology lessons.
- Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Regularly assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Maintaining accurate records of student attainment.
- Creating a positive safe and inclusive classroom/laboratory environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues within the Science department.
- Contributing to the development of the Biology curriculum.
- Ensuring the safe and effective use of laboratory equipment and materials.
- Communicating effectively with parents/guardians.
- Adhering to all school safeguarding policies.
