PHYSICS TEACHER
A thriving secondary school in Lambeth seeks a dedicated and inspiring Physics Teacher to join their successful Science department. This is a fulltime permanent opportunity to contribute to a supportive learning environment and foster a love of Physics in students. The successful candidate will be a passionate Physics Teacher.
Responsibilities:The Physics Teacher will:
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and ideally Key Stage 5 (ALevel Physics).
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate student records.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom/laboratory environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department.
- Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum.
- Ensure the safe and effective use of laboratory equipment.
- Communicate with parents/guardians.
- Adhere to all school safeguarding policies.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified: Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Experienced: Proven ability to teach Physics at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
- Passionate: Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for Physics and student success.
- Skilled: Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Collaborative: Be a strong team player.
- Proactive: Show a commitment to ongoing professional development.
