We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of both History and Geography and a commitment to providing highquality education at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified teacher (holding QTS or equivalent).
- Experienced in teaching both History and Geography at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Key Stage 5 experience is NOT required for this role.
- Passionate about History and Geography and able to inspire students of all abilities.
- An inspiring Humanities Teacher.
- An excellent classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills.
- Committed to raising student achievement and fostering a love of learning in both History and Geography.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging and challenging History and Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student attainment and progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking enquiry and a deep understanding of both subjects.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Humanities department and across the school.
- Contribute to the development of the History and Geography curricula at KS3 and KS4.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
- Ensure all pupils feel safe.
- The appointed Humanities Teacher is expected to take ownership
