We are seeking a highly skilled AI Processor Design Engineer with strong Instruction Set Architecture (ISA)expertise to join our team. If you are passionate about AI hardware microarchitecture and custom processor design this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.
Tasks
- Architect design and optimize AIspecific processor cores and accelerators.
- Develop and extend Instruction Set Architecture (ISA) for AI workloads.
- Work on microarchitecture design including pipelines vector units and memory hierarchies.
- Optimize AIspecific data paths units and parallel processing architectures.
- Conduct performance modeling simulation and benchmarking.
- Evaluate tradeoffs in power performance and area (PPA).Participate in RTL design and verification processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of ISAs (e.g. RISCV ARM x86 or custom AI ISAs).
- Experience with processor microarchitecture and hardware design.
- Proficiency in Verilog VHDL or SystemVerilog for RTL design.
- Handson experience with AI/ML workloads and accelerators (e.g. Tensor cores NPUs TPUs or GPUs).
- Familiarity with performance modeling and simulation tools.
- Understanding of memory systems caching and power optimization techniques.
- Experience with ASIC or FPGA development is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RISCV custom ISA extensions for AI acceleration.
- Knowledge of lowpower design techniques.
- Handson experience with EDA tools for synthesis timing analysis and verification.
- Familiarity with highlevel synthesis (HLS) and AI compiler stacks.
