JOB SUMMARY:
The Construction Management Lead assists the Construction Management Project Head in the implementation of CM activities such as Time Cost Scope and Quality Management. He/She also assists CM Project Head in the development and improvement of policies and procedures. His duties involve review of Construction Plans Technical Specifications and Contracts. CM Lead also ensures timely delivery of Owner Supplied Materials (OSM) and Onboarding of Contractors/Suppliers based on approved Procurement Schedule.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Construction Management Project Head in the implementation of the Approved Construction Schedule.
- Coordinates with External CM CPCAD and Purchasing to ensure that the Procurement of OSM & Contractors is onschedule.
- Assist the Construction Management Projects Head in monitoring and implementing the project within the approved Construction Budget/Cost by minimizing change orders and reviewing plans for possible value engineering.
- Assist the Construction Management Project Head in monitoring quality by attending meetings/walkthrough reports and presentations.
- Assist the Construction Management Project Head in Scope Management based on Design (Plans Technical Specifications etc.) and Contract Documents.
- Assist the Construction Management Project Head in the development and improvement of policies and procedures that lead to effective/efficient implementation of construction management for projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College graduate preferably BS Civil Engineering
- At least two years managing construction projects (Office HRB Residential MixedUse Townships)
- Proficiency in use of construction project management tools
- Licensed Civil Engineer
