Job Description

Our multinational client who deals in FastMoving Consumable Goods (FMCG) is looking to hire an experienced Sales and Marketing Officer to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing you will primarily be responsible for promoting and selling the company s products to customers expanding the customer base and serving as the face of the brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive sales by maintaining the relationship with existing customers as well as generating new leads.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective customers when necessary.
  • Lead contract negotiations with prospective leads or customers.Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Keep accurate and uptodate records of all sales activities in the ERP system.
  • Assist the marketing head to determine pricing schedules for quotes promotions and negotiations where necessary.
  • Enroll new distributors and wholesalers in line with the companys customer onboarding procedures.
  • Coordinate with the account and audit departments to resolve all outstanding debts and stocks.
  • Regularly share feedback on enquiries and complaints experienced by customers.
  • Supervise the activities of assigned driver in all sales activities


Requirements

  • Must have at least an HND or Degree in Marketing Supply Chain Management or in any related field.
  • Must have at least two (2) years of work experience in Sales and Marketing.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Must possess strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Working knowledge in the account software ERP Net is an added advantage.
  • Proficient working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
  • Must be willing to travel frequently.




Must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field. Must have at least two (2) years of experience in operations, marketing or any other related field. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Possess good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. Ability to solve problems and pay attention to detail. Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
