Job Description

Job Title: Senior Marketing Manager
Location: Chennai


Job Summary:


The Senior Marketing Manager will oversee the development execution and optimization of marketing strategies aimed at promoting our IT software and services. This role will involve leading a team collaborating crossfunctionally with sales product and executive teams and driving initiatives that enhance brand visibility demand generation and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience. in B2B technology marketing deep knowledge of digital marketing channels and a proven track record in delivering results in a fastpaced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Development & Execution:

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company s business objectives.

Drive brand awareness lead generation and customer retention initiatives across various channels. Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to ensure the marketing strategy is relevant and impactful.


Campaign Management:

Lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept through execution including digital content events email marketing and social media.

Monitor campaign performance providing regular reporting and insights to senior leadership to measure ROI. Continuously optimize campaigns based on key metrics like conversion rates engagement and lead quality.


Digital Marketing:

Oversee the execution of SEO SEM content marketing email marketing and social media strategies to increase online visibility. Manage the company s website and digital presence ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy.

Leverage data analytics tools to monitor website traffic customer behavior and campaign performance.


Team Leadership and Collaboration:

Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.

Work closely with sales and product teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with sales goals and product offerings. Manage relationships with external agencies vendors and partners to ensure timely and costeffective campaign delivery.


Content Development & Thought Leadership:

Position the company as a thought leader in the IT software and services industry through content and speaking opportunities at industry events.



Qualifications:


Education:

Master s degree in marketing Business Administration or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 710 years of experience in marketing with at least 35 years in a senior or leadership role in an IT software and services company. Proven success in B2B marketing particularly in the IT/technology sector.

Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools including SEO SEM social media email marketing and content strategy. Experience in demand generation lead nurturing and customer retention strategies.

Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for storytelling and creating compelling content. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.

Ability to analyze data understand key metrics and use insights to inform marketing strategies.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.

Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot Marketo) CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics SEMrush).

Understanding of web development basics including content management systems (e.g. WordPress Drupal).

Previous experience managing largescale events trade shows or webinars.
