Job Description
Position Overview
Our client a leader in the advanced materials and specialty chemicals sector is seeking a highly motivated and innovative researcher to join their team. This role will focus on driving research and development initiatives developing innovative solutions and contributing to the commercialization of highvalue products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ideation and proposal of R&D projects in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Conduct indepth research on advanced materials and specialty chemicals to explore new applications and opportunities.
- Design and implement strategies for market entry and commercialization of new products.
- Collaborate with internal and external experts to manage research projects effectively.
- Perform technical evaluations and market studies to identify new product development opportunities and consumer needs.
- Analyze and present research findings providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Partner with crossfunctional teams to advance product research initiatives and drive product innovation.
- Monitor and optimize product performance metrics ensuring continuous improvement.
- Conduct value chain analyses and preliminary market research to identify potential customers and market segments.
Qualifications
- Masters degree or higher in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Materials Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in highvalue product development within the advanced materials or specialty chemicals sector (preferred).
- Proven experience in product development processes and transitioning concepts to commercialization.
- Strong analytical and research skills with a creative approach to problemsolving.
- Demonstrated ability to generate innovative ideas and implement them effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the flexibility to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
