Job Description

Position Overview

Our client a leader in the energy and petrochemical sector is seeking a skilled and detailoriented researcher specializing in crude oil molecular analysis. This role involves conducting advanced research to deepen the understanding of crude oil molecular structures and contributing to the development of innovative solutions in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute experimental plans to analyze the molecular composition of crude oil.
  • Lead research initiatives aimed at advancing the understanding of complex molecular structures in crude oil.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses using advanced laboratory techniques including NMR spectroscopy mass spectrometry chromatography (GC HPLC) and infrared spectroscopy.
  • Utilize stateoftheart instrumentation and methodologies to characterize and quantify crude oil components.
  • Analyze experimental data derive meaningful insights and present findings to crossfunctional teams.
  • Collaborate closely with process engineers and crude planning teams to apply research insights to operational strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of technical reports publications and recommendations for process optimization.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree or higher in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or a closely related field with a specialization in molecular analysis and spectroscopy.
  • Strong background in organic chemistry analytical chemistry and instrumental analysis.
  • Proficiency in cuttingedge analytical techniques such as NMR spectroscopy mass spectrometry and various chromatography methods.
  • Experience with advanced instrumentation for molecular characterization in crude oil or similar applications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry particularly in extraction refining or petrochemical processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English.
  • Candidates aged below 35 are preferred though not mandatory.
