We are looking for a Sales Manager North to help us develop the Life Science market by generating funnel increasing market share Managing Channel Partner and driving geographical expansion in Tier 12 & 3 cities.

The role location is based in Delhi and entails working in remote mode driving the growth and development of entire North India (DelhiNCR/Punjab/Haryana/Himachal/ Uttarakhand /J&K/MP/UP/Rajasthan & Other States)

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

Promote entire Molecular Devices products in accordance with marketing and sales strategies to meet needs and benefits of customers. Expand market share with a specific focus on Tier 12 & 3 cities by visiting customers directly and collaborating with distributors/partners to make Molecular Devices the first choice of customers. You would also need to manage channels in order to drive supply and availability of the products.

Major responsibilities we will trust you with:

  • Growth and expansion of sales of the full range of Molecular Devices products to achieve annual sales targets in the Life Sciences Pharma CRO Biopharma Government & Academia segments.
  • Metro city channel management
  • Leverage value selling skills to provide solutions that meet the needs of existing and potential customers
  • Knowhow of selling Life Science products in Life Sciences Pharma CRO Biopharma Government & Academia segments.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with strategically selected distributor / channel partner to grow business and achieve sales goals (where applicable in region)
  • Coordinate customer demonstrations installations and training with Applications & Engineering team
  • Plan and report activities using Salesforce including Win/Loss and competitor information
  • Conduct sales activities using basic understanding of DBS tools
  • Qualify leads and create funnels
  • Submit accurate forecasts and present own sales action plans
  • Participate in daily management meeting (QDIP)

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • Bachelors / Masters in field of Life sciences.
  • Minimum 57 years of sales experience in life science field.
  • Proficient level language fluency in English.
  • Experience in a combination of Laboratory instrumentation. Exposure to government tenders process will be added advantage in GeM tender process.
  • Work experience in CRMs like SFDC or any other CRM tool.
  • Agile and willing to travel 50% in a month.
  • Ability to work independently and within as a team.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills with a scientific approach for the customers.
