Job Description
Our client requires the services of a DevOps Consultant (Advanced) Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Relevant IT / Business Degree
- 3 5 years experience
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Specific Technical / Functional skills
- Finance/Accounting understanding to assist with problem resolution
- Understanding of operations processes and documenting solution guides of problem resolutions
- Informatics understanding to resolve problems related to data flows between various systems (SAP and NonSAP) & middleware (MuBaCo EAI RFCs ALE IDOCs AIF)
- Understanding of critical Job Scheduling and Monitoring for exceptions
- Understanding of Business Processes and Capability to improve on current processes where required
- Strict adherence to Treasury operations processes and continually improving said processes
- Exposure to ITSM (Service Now) and documenting problem progress and resolutions
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
- German Speaking (Advantageous)
- DEVOPS (Very advantageous)
- Confluence and Jira (advantageous)
- Ownership mentality willingness to take over responsibility and drive topics
- Willingness deal with (talk to) our global customers (due to the global exposure language barriers might exist)
- Above board work ethics this is of utmost importance
- Open and proactive communication across teams
- Ability to understand complex work environments
- Flexibility to take up different tasks in the feature team
- Flexibility to work weekends and after hours in a shift schedule
- IT experience delivering operations support services
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a high attention to detail (root cause analysis simulating errors etc.)

ROLE:
- Take over operations activities in an SAP environment (Treasury Banking Cash Management InHouse Cash MultiBankingConnectivity)
- Work rotation spans over morning evening and weekend shifts also on public holidays
- Working knowledge of and understanding of the business processes for developing and testing SAP functions associated with financial operations.
- Provide general assistance to the Operations team and end users
- Adhere to the PIC processes (Problem Incident & Change Management
- Perform daily operations tasks and end user support
- Creation of pertinent test documentation
- Enable end user knowledge transfer and training
- Work closely with other functional consultants developers product owners and various global stakeholders in a bigger feature team
