About the job
As a Tech Lead at FLIR you will lead a talented team of developers responsible for enhancing our United Video Management System (UVMS) a highly complex distributed system that involves advanced video and data management at scale. You will guide the team in developing new features optimizing performance and solving technical challenges ensuring highquality software delivery.
What Youll Do
Team leadership:Provide technical guidance remove blockers and support team members to foster a collaborative and productive development environment.
Enterprise application development:Lead the design development and maintenance of largescale distributed systems using C#
Legacy system support:Oversee the ongoing support and improvement of legacy applications built on .NET WinForms.
Crossfunctional collaboration:Work with other teams to define design and deliver new features and functionalities that meet our high technical standards.
Performance optimization:Ensure high performance scalability and responsiveness of applications by identifying and resolving performance issues.
Code quality:Maintain high standards in code quality architecture and development practices. Lead code reviews and drive best practices in automation and testing.
About You
We are looking for a Tech Lead with strong leadership abilities technical expertise and a passion for building highquality software.
You have 4 years of experience as a software engineer with strong skills in C#
You have handson experience with multithreaded programming in highperformance systems.
You have a solid background in working with SQL databases to design and optimize scalable backend services.
Youve worked with complex largescale systems ideally in a distributed architecture and have experience with backend services and realtime data processing.
You have experience mentoring engineers providing technical guidance and promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
