We are looking to hire a Product Application Specialist to efficiently manage our Shipboard ERP solution and contribute to the enhancement of various modules by leveraging domain knowledge and incorporating stakeholder feedback.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Ensuring safe reliable and costeffective ship management for the vessels under FMT responsibility.
- Operation and maintenance of PMS (Planned Maintenance System) and QHSE modules onboard ML vessels according to current procedures and standards to minimize downtime and overall cost for maintaining vessels machinery and equipment.
- Efficient implementation of the processes for creating and updating all QHSE modules.
- Responsible for application testing and release management in alignment with Platform Team and assist in deployment.
- Responsible for Change requests from idea generation to deployment of new features in production including creating user stories testing training and supporting release Management accordingly.
- Implementation of ERP application Governance including User Access Review.
- Work with various departments on projects to optimize the use of QHSE Modules in the Application.
- Monitor the performance and functionality of Various Modules and Report failures and deficiencies to T&L IT and vendor for failure rectification.
- Testing of Features and Bug fixes to aid with Release management.
- Develop and maintain SOP and Guidelines within the area of responsibility.
- Provide comprehensive support in the overall management of systems and assist in the establishment of new applications.
In order to be considered for this position you need to be motivated by working in an environment with rapid changing priorities. At the same time you need to be the person who in a challenging situation maintains the overview and takes the longterm impact of a given decision into account.
This job will require skills in managing shipboard ERP solution related QHSE Data analytics Technical PMS management & Stock Management.
- Marine Engineer/Deck officer with at least 5 years of experience or PMS systems
- Good understanding of Vessel Planned Maintenance system QHSE Surveys & Stock Management
- Experience & Knowledge in Data Analytics would be an added advantage
- Independent and selfmotivated with a desire for continuous learning
- Proactive attitude and social skills like being a team player a good listener and having the ability to influence without authority.
- Flexibility to adjust to work timings as per the business requirements.
- Good Organizational and analytical skills
- Should be able to share knowledge & accept ideas
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package Excel and Outlook in particular.
