Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support the accuracy and efficiency of our clients financial operations. Reporting to the finance team this role involves maintaining records preparing reports and handling essential accounting tasks. This is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to develop their career in a collaborative environment.

Location: On site Mosta

Responsibilities:

As a Junior Accountant your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Record financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable.

Reconcile bank statements and address discrepancies promptly.

Assist in preparing financial reports budgets and forecasts.

Support monthend and yearend closing activities.

Maintain organised and accurate accounting records.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.

Contribute to tax filings and compliance documentation.

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting Finance or a similar field.

Preferably 12 years of experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero) and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical and attentiontodetail skills.

Effective organisational and timemanagement abilities.

Good communication skills and a teamoriented approach.
