Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all QA sections as Head of Department.
- Ensure all goods manufactured and delivered fulfilled customer specifications IEC safety and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to the Companys Quality Management System (QMS) and continuously improve the QMS.
- Interpret implement and evaluate quality assurance standards.
- Monitor and develop raw material supplier performance and maintain supplier metrics.
- Perform or lead root cause analysis on purchased part or product quality issues and work issues through containment phase of corrective action process.
- Analyse identify propose and implement manufacturing and/or business process improvements which will improve capability and performance.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in accordance to customer specifications IEC safety and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee suppliers evaluation and audit in order to ensure the suppliers meet the quality standard of the company.
- Confirm release of product for shipment upon successfully completed product FAT.
- Maintain and control calibration records for test and calibration equipment.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with quality legal customer standard ISO and industry regulatory requirement.
- Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data.
- Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
- Investigate customer complaints and nonconformance issues.
- Develop recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality issues.
- Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
- Prepare and present to management monthly TQM result COPQ data and quality improvement plan.
- Serve as Localization Planning Committee member in providing quality assurance advice and expertise for localization of the companys products to ensure a smooth transition of products as well as aligning it to corporate standards.
- Serve as the main representative of Environmental Management team to execute environmental procedures to ensure they are aligned to Corporate policies and ISO set.
- Serve as one of the members of Quality Management team to provide support in initiatives to enhance the overall quality of the companys products.
- Carry out general managerial roles with superior to ensure compliance with companys policies develop talent capability via training to ensure subordinates acquire the necessary skills knowledge and competency to carry out their responsibilities and achieve targets ensure effective use of Companys assets establish good internal & external relationship and communication and to be a good role model.
- Responsible for his/ her personal safety and that of all personnel under his/ her authority including others who may be affected by the companys activities.
- Ensure HIRARC for their departmental processes are conducted and maintained with necessary measures in place. Also ensure that the necessary procedures rules and regulations designed to achieve this are formulated published and applied.
- Ensure all personnel under their respective sections are aware suitably trained/competent to carry out the prescribed task and that the necessary licenses/certificates of competence are in force and appropriate.
Job Requirement:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of switchgears.
- Extensive testing experience from switchgear company.
- Managerial experience overseeing multiple teams at one time.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to stay calm & amidst high pressure environment working with different customer types or lastminute FAT.
- Able to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Ability to plan execute and be resourceful.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
