Job Description
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
Monitor health of Blue Yonder TM TP Freight Auction Approval Chain applications and take
appropriate actions when needed. (CPU Memory Scheduled Tasks etc.)
Plan for and implement TM/TP/FA Patch/Hot Fix/Upgrades based on the latest BY Releases.
Resolve server & application security vulnerabilities detected within BY TMS Servers.
Open and manage cases with Blue Yonder.
Manage Firewall Rules
Work with multiple organizations across Caterpillar to resolve incidents and implement global
changes
Recognize and troubleshoot moderate/complex technical problems within IT service
agreement levels
Communicate with crossfunctional teams primarily at the individual contributor level to
provide problem resolution updates.
Measure control and improve service offerings standard work & operational processes.
Develop and maintain deep technical and business knowledge of the domain
Participate in rootcause analysis of technical incidents.
Work on multiple problems or projects simultaneously
Selfstarter with demonstrated ability to take initiative in a fastpaced environment
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (IT) Information Systems or related field.
5 Years of progressive IT experience in application development & support
