Description:
The Clients Advanced Materials Technology (AMT) division supports the companys heat treat manufacturing equipment processes and technological development around the world. AMT is currently seeking an experienced Software Specialist to deliver worldclass support to our business unit customers. The Software Specialist bears primary responsibility for application development and programming database administration security implementation and application change management.
Opportunity to provide the technical expertise necessary to develop and implement complex manufacturing applications and industrial data analysis
Responsibilities:
- Software architecture and design including documentation
- Capture and analyze system requirements
- Develop deploy and manage C# Web APIs
- Design and develop datadriven applications
- Using and managing source control systems (Git)
- Database development administration (Oracle SQLServer)
- Operating system administration (Windows Powershell)
- Troubleshooting of database and reporting platforms
- Implement and manage software security and access control (SAML)
- Participate on many projects concurrently and with crossfunctional teams
- Lead new technology initiatives in industrial applications
Techinical Skills Required:
- C

- .NET
- Python
- SQL & relational databases
- GIT or other version control technologies
Desired Skills:
- Experience with historian and OPC clients
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations
- Experience with SCADA systems (FTOptix Wonderware Archestra) Highly desired
- Experience with unified modeling language (UML)
- Experience with automated software regression testing
- Operational technology cybersecurity experience
Soft Skills Required:
- Ability to find the balance between adhering to formal processes speedy development quality
- Good written and oral communication skills

Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent industry experience
- Advanced Computer Science Degree
