Our client a leader in the energy sector based in Juno Beach FL is seeking a talented Engineer I to join their Substation Engineering group. They are committed to innovation in renewable energy and provide a collaborative work environment that fosters professional growth.
Overview:
AP Recruiters is partnering with our client to hire an Engineer I to provide administrative and technical support to Project Engineers and Managers in the Substation Engineering group. This role offers a blend of office and remote work flexibility with a preference for candidates in the tricounty area surrounding Juno Beach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and technical support for Project Engineers and Managers.
- Utilize Microsoft applications to track performance metrics and support project activities.
- Understand and apply Bulk Electric System Facility Ratings Methodology.
- Review Facility Ratings reports for various technologies (Wind Solar Battery Storage Transmission etc.).
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely report finalization.
- Support weekly calls related to Facility Ratings tracking.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering preferred.
- Experience in Substation design and engineering of High Voltage projects is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Access Word OneNote).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
