We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DDI Team lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining DDI environment while also looking to enhance the current solution. They will manage a small team of DDI analysts who provide 1st/2nd level support and act as an escalation for these and any other issues with the DDI environment.
The Role will play a critical role in identifying potential DDI vulnerabilities developing strategies to mitigate risks and responding to DDI incidents.
What will you do:
- Responsible for working with business partners to discover requirements.
- Help to Define strategy/roadmaps for DDI solutions
- Identify gaps within current DDI environment and provide resolutions
- Perform team leader activities for DNS analysts
- Work on troubleshooting issues with DNS analysts as escalation
- Investigate and define designs for automation of DDI processes to enhance productivity.
- Creating and Maintaining DDI policies
- Work with design and planning team to define refine and suggest alternate designs or permanent remediation of issues.
- Ensure handover of solutions to engineering/operations teams is performed with appropriate documentation.
- Proactively identify engage and act on situations where things could be better.
- Continually evaluate service capacity and performance; make recommendations for technical and service changes as appropriate.
- Work with design and planning team to define refine and suggest alternate designs or permanent remediation of issues.
- Working with vendor to support and detailed technical designs/troubleshooting as needed.
What Do you need to Have:
- 7 12 years of DDI experience (Data Name Services (DNS) Dynamic Host Configuration (DHCP) and IP Address Management (IPAM)
- 7 12 years of Network experience (TCP/IP protocols basics of networks ports)
- Knowledge and handson Active Directory.
- Experience of leading a small team
- Take ownership of issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution. Provide timely updates to stakeholders or incident manager during incidents.
- Maintain Network Monitoring tool accuracy ensuring that devices are correctly monitored.
- Proactively identify engage and act on situations where things could be better.
- Collaborate with L2/L3 Operations & Engineering teams and 3rd party carriers.
- Assist with ongoing maintenance of inventory information and updates of our internal Knowledge Base systems.
- Ensure all issues are properly logged and updated accordingly.
- Leverage network management systems (NMS) to understand issues and pinpoint where the problem likely is and the impact it is causing.
- Maintain Network Monitoring tool accuracy ensuring that devices are correctly monitored.
- Work on documentation preparing use cases.
- Knowledge and Handson Bluecat will be added advantage.
- Any expose of Bluecat automation gateway
Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
