Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Global Product Owner to lead our Opportunity Engine Program which is undergoing strategic deployment in priority markets. Opportunity Engine is an AIbased rep orchestration tool used by Sales Reps. The tool leverages data from a variety of platforms that feeds into a machine learning model to optimize HCP targeting prioritization and engagement. The ideal candidate will work closely with our allstar team in India and take accountability for identifying opportunities for growth and innovation ultimately driving a product vision strategy and corresponding roadmap for Opportunity Engine. Complementary to providing data driven engagement suggestions the role will harness the user experience of field teams through feedback loops to drive continuous improvement. They will lead product discovery by leveraging data research and market analysis then liaising with stakeholders and working closely with crossfunctional teams throughout the software development life cycle to ensure effective rollout of new features in markets all over the world.
Opportunity Engine is part of the field experience product portfolio which will focus on bringing together data and technology capabilities to allow for the organization to become data driven and insightled in every decision to drive revenue and growth. This Associate Director role plays a key role within the broader field experience team focusing on AI/ML assisted planning & prioritizing activities whilst collaborating with other product teams to enhance the endtoend experience of field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the global Opportunity Engine product backlog prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and strategic alignment
2. Collaborate with stakeholders across markets to gather requirements and ensure the Opportunity Engine program meets diverse regional needs
3. Work closely with the development team in India to define user stories acceptance criteria and product specifications
4. Oversee the maintenance of the current Data Engine while driving innovation and evolution of the broader Planning experience.
5. Serve as the primary point of contact for Opportunity Engine related queries and issues from global markets
6. Analyze program performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement
7. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and policies across all markets
8. Facilitate communication between technical teams business stakeholders and endusers to deliver best in industry features whilst driving deep adoption amongst field teams
9. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in the pharmaceutical sales and marketing space
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science or related field; MBA preferred
2. Total 15years of experience & minimum 5 years of experience in product management or similar role preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
3. Indepth knowledge of Veeva platforms specifically the field teams planning workflows
4. Strong understanding of how sales representatives utilize HCP Suggestions in their daily activities
5. Experience working with global teams and managing crosscultural communication
6. Excellent project management and organizational skills
7. Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
8. Exceptional communication and presentation skills
9. Agile/Scrum certification (e.g. CSPO) preferred
Desired Skills:
1. Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools
2. Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in pharmaceutical sales
3. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in multiple pharmaceutical markets
4. Experience with pharmaceutical sales
