Job Description
As a Systems Engineer you will be responsible for designing analyzing and integrating highlevel system architectures for missioncritical programs. Your role involves aligning operational concepts with technical solutions ensuring system efficiency and delivering fully integrated solutions that meet mission objectives.
You will collaborate with government representatives providing technical expertise innovative solutions and comprehensive systems engineering documentation.
Primary Responsibilities Requirements Analysis & System Architecture- Analyze user requirements highlevel system architectures and operational documents to develop detailed system specifications.
- Lead the design development and integration of system solutions ensuring compatibility with frameworks like DoDAF (Department of Defense Architecture Framework) and ServiceOriented Architecture (SOA).
- Provide technical leadership in integrating new designs into existing operations.
- Develop review and maintain system engineering documentation including architectures technical manuals and operational guides.
- Conduct trade studies technical analyses and performance evaluations to enhance system capabilities.
- Work closely with government stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure alignment with mission requirements.
- Ensure compliance with standards policies and best practices in systems engineering.
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
- (Note: Five additional years of systems engineering experience can be substituted for a degree.)
- 20 years of experience in systems engineering roles on programs/contracts of similar scope complexity and size.
- Proven experience in leading systems engineering efforts including requirements analysis architecture development and system integration.
- Handson expertise in:
- SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) collection & analysis
- Cyber mission technologies
- DoD frameworks
- Strong knowledge of system architectures and operational concepts
- Proficiency in technical documentation and enduser requirements analysis
- Leadership experience in SIGINT (civilian & military roles)
- Familiarity with DoDAF SOA and modern system integration methods
- Experience integrating mission technologies into operational environments
