IT Change Management Specialist Fulltime role

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Change Management Specialist to lead and support change management initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing IT operations change collaborating with crossfunctional teams and implementing organizational change management strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates who do not meet or exceed the following requirements will not be considered.
Experience & Skills:
- 47 years of experience in IT operations Change Management with a track record of success.
- Strong ability to collaborate with technical and business teams to develop and implement change adoption strategies.
- Handson experience in conducting change impact assessments identifying resistance and mitigating risks.
- Expertise in planning and leading meetings ensuring effective communication across teams.
- Ability to establish rigorous Organizational Change Management (OCM) checkpoints and define relevant success metrics.
- Experience in assisting project managers by documenting change management plans schedules status reports and requests.
- Strong stakeholder management skills providing detailed updates to project managers and leadership teams.
- Indepth knowledge of common change management principles methodologies and tools.
- Experience handling largescale organizational change management efforts effectively.
Preferred Qualifications: While not required the following qualifications are preferred and will be considered an advantage: - 2 years of experience in SharePoint setup and administration.
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or equivalent certification.
- 1 year of experience working with the State of Texas agencies or similar government organizations.
- 1 year of experience in Unemployment Insurance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute change management strategies to drive adoption and minimize resistance.
- Work closely with stakeholders to assess the impact of proposed changes and develop mitigation plans.
- Communicate change initiatives effectively ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor and measure change effectiveness using predefined metrics and continuous improvement approaches.
- Facilitate workshops training sessions and stakeholder engagement activities to promote successful transitions.
- Maintain uptodate documentation related to change management processes and progress reports.
