Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Works with Coordinator to help resolve client sample issues.
- Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility as appropriate.
- Move samples to and from storage locations.
- Communicate sample information to all appropriate personnel.
- Learns to manage internal customer inquiries and requests.
- Effectively communicates discrepancies to appropriate personnel assists with problem solving.
- Dispose of all samples according to the SOPs.
- Communicates development improvement ideas for the group.
- Ability to work with others from different areas outside of Sample Management
- Promotes and contributes to a cohesive team environment and maintains a positive attitude.
- Plans individual workloads in accordance with team members.
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge skill or ability required.
- 1 years of experience; will train as needed.
- Customer service skills including attention to detail accuracy confidentiality and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and communicate customer service needs.
- Ability to learn new tasks
- Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of computers.
Other Factors of this role include:
- Overtime and weekend work as required.
- Will be exposed to potential food allergens (ex. Milk tree nuts peanuts fish shellfish etc.).
- Physical requirements include but not are limited to standing bending reaching and lifting working in walkin cold storage units.
- Expected to understand the process for handling hazardous wastes and receive onthejob training for handling specific waste types in their job area.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. for short periods of time.
- Work requires use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
- Mandatory immunizations and screening as required.
Pay: 1820/hr
