Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Engineer Nuclear
Job Location: Juno Beach FL (Onsite)
Expected Contract Length/Duration: 12 months
Overview:
Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for leading complex projects Our client is seeking a Sr. Engineer Nuclear to oversee the successful implementation of SLR (Subsequent License Renewal) at PSL. This role involves extensive fieldwork rigorous documentation and collaboration with diverse teams to ensure compliance with NRC standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead PSL SLR efforts with the Vendor SLR Team.
- Review and approve planning documents (AMP procedures WOs Program Notebooks Commitment Closures) on schedule.
- Facilitate PSL and fleet input for procedure development WO planning and PMCR/PMRQ updates.
- Contribute to risk mitigation plans.
- Coordinate PSL and fleet resources to meet SLR commitments with the vendor SLR team and oversee projects and maintenance.
- Manage PSL SLR ARs to ensure all commitments are met before NRC IP71003 Audit.
- Oversee training and CWE efforts for SLR support.
- Interface with licensing for SLR LAR changes and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure the Cathodic Protection system performance meets SLR standards.
- Manage selfassessment processes for NRC IP70113 inspection.
- Attend planning meetings to track SLR inspection progress.
- Oversee SLR PreSPEO Inspections and craft support in collaboration with Vendor SLR Team and Projects/Maintenance.
- Coordinate daily/weekly SLR activities to ensure timely inspections.
- Collaborate with the Vendor Site SLR Lead.
- Ensure the successful implementation of SLR at PSL.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in project management and engineering.
- Strong understanding of NRC regulations and SLR processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
