Financial Planning Senior Manager oversees the planning, analysis, and budgeting processes within an organization, ensuring that financial goals align with the company’s strategy. They play a key role in providing financial insights and guidance to senior leadership, while also managing financial planning teams.
Key Responsibilities:

inancial Forecasting & Budgeting:
- ead the development of the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
- ollaborate with senior management to define financial goals and set budget targets.
- onitor performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.

trategic Financial Planning:
- evelop long-term financial strategies that support the company’s overall goals.
- onduct financial modeling and scenario planning to assess the impact of various business decisions and strategies.
- nalyze market trends, competitive landscape, and economic factors to inform financial planning.

eporting & Analysis:
- versee the preparation of detailed financial reports for internal stakeholders (management, board, etc.).
- erform in-depth financial analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- ommunicate financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

eam Leadership & Development:
- anage and mentor a team of financial planners or analysts.
- nsure the team has the right resources and training to meet departmental goals.

ross-Functional Collaboration:
- ork closely with other departments (e.g., operations, marketing, HR) to gather relevant data for financial planning and analysis.

- ssist in due diligence processes for new projects, partnerships, or acquisitions.
Desired candidate profile
- Education: A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or other relevant certifications preferred).
- Experience: Typically 10-15 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or management.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial audiences.
- Leadership Skills: Experience leading and developing a team, managing resources, and driving team performance.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting
