Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) plays a critical role by leading its technological vision strategy and execution. He or she is responsible for providing strategic leadership making major corporate decisions managing all aspects of the companys operations and overseeing business growth plans. Moreover he or she will work closely with the President and the executive team to align technology goals with business objectives.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

  • Technology Strategy
    • Develops and implements a technology roadmap aligned with the companys business objectives.
    • Identifies opportunities where technology can create a competitive advantage or improve efficiency.
  • Decisionmaking
    • Makes major corporate decisions.
    • Creates and implements policies and procedures that will ensure the company runs efficiently and effectively.
  • Company representation
    • Serves as the public face of the company and primary point of contact for partners customers and other stakeholders.
    • Able to communicate the companys vision and strategy effectively
    • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Represents the companys technology vision to stakeholders investors and customers.
    • Explains technical strategies and capabilities in a way that nontechnical stakeholders can understand.
    • Finance management
      • Makes decisions on technology procurement and partnerships.
      • Ensures that the company is compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements.
      • Manages the budget for technology investments and resources.
    • Operations management
        • Oversees the work of other executives as well as the management of the companys employees.
        • In addition he or she leads and develops highperforming teams across various functions fostering a culture of accountability performance and growth.
        • Moreover the CTO drives the companys operational efficiency by identifying areas for process improvement and implementing best practices.
      • Longterm goal setting
        • Focuses on the companys growth and development by driving innovation staying updated on emerging technologies trends and best practices.
        • Identifies new business opportunities develops products and services and expands into new markets.
        • Works to create a sustainable and profitable business.

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Education
        • The CTO must have a college degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. Preferably he or she has a masters degree (MBA)
      • Experience
        • The CTO should have extensive experience at a senior executive level position with a proven track record of leadership in highlevel roles. Prior experience serving as a CEO COO or in a similar executive capacity within an IT company is highly advantageous demonstrating a deep understanding of both technical and strategic business operations.
        • 510yrs Experience: Previous role handles different divisions of the company
      • Competencies
        • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers partners and internal teams. This includes being able to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner actively listening to feedback building strong relationships with stakeholders and ability to effectively communicate the companys vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
        • Industry knowledge: Should have a deep understanding of our industry including market trends and best practices. Should be able to stay up to date with the latest industry developments and use that knowledge to drive growth and innovation.
        • Business acumen and strategic thinking: Must possess strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills to identify new opportunities for growth develop effective business development and strategic planning initiatives and execute business plans. Must have indepth knowledge of financial management and cash flow analysis. Should have successful track record in fundraising and securing capital for the companys growth.
        • Strong leadership and management skills: Must possess strong leadership and management skills to lead crossfunctional teams and manage a diverse senior leadership team. Proven track record of successfully leading and growing organizations. Must be knowledgeable with corporate governance and legal compliance as well as organizational structures and the ability to optimize them for efficient operations. Must have excellent reputation and a track record of ethical leadership and integrity.
        • Passion for innovation: Should have a passion for innovation and experience in leading and managing organizational change and transformation. Should be willing to take necessary risks and experiment with new ideas to drive growth and success.

      Additional Details:

      • Hybrid work arrangement (23 days a week) usually MWF RTO and TTH WFH
      • Work Schedule: usually 8am 5pm; 9am 6pm
