Job Description

HireneXus has partnered with a clinical solutions company that provides clinical trial and laboratory supply chain services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies contract research organizations (CROs) and diagnostic laboratories to add a Total Rewards Manager to their HR team.

Job Summary

The Total Rewards Manager is responsible for designing implementing and managing comprehensive compensation and benefits programs that attract retain and engage top talent. This role ensures that all total rewards programs align with the organization’s goals comply with legal requirements and remain competitive within the industry. The Total Rewards Manager serves as a strategic partner to leadership providing insights and recommendations to support the organization’s workforce strategy.

Role And Responsibilities

Developing Total Rewards Strategy:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive global total rewards strategy aligned with the organization’s culture goals and values.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to embed total rewards into talent acquisition retention and engagement strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and propose innovative reward solutions.

Compensation Design And Management

  • Build and oversee competitive global compensation frameworks including salary bands job grading and incentive plans.
  • Conduct market benchmarking to ensure fair and competitive compensation.
  • Work with leadership to establish and manage bonus equity and longterm incentive programs.
  • Lead the annual salary review and merit increase cycles.

Benefits Program Oversight

  • Develop and administer global benefits programs such as health insurance retirement plans and wellness initiatives.
  • Assess and recommend improvements to benefits offerings based on employee feedback and market trends.
  • Collaborate with brokers and vendors to secure costeffective highquality benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with benefitsrelated regulations including ACA reporting and audits.

Employee Communication And Education

  • Create communication plans to inform employees about total rewards programs.
  • Develop resources to help employees understand their compensation and benefits.
  • Serve as a goto resource for employees and managers regarding rewards policies.

Compliance And Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to relevant compensation and benefits laws across global markets.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and produce reports to support audits budgeting and strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with HRIS teams to maintain data integrity and streamline total rewards systems.

Leadership And Team Collaboration

  • Provide strategic advice to HR and business leaders on total rewards matters.
  • Lead and mentor HR team members to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams to support overall HR and business goals.

Qualifications

Education and Professional Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g. CCP CEBS SHRMCP/SCP) are a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits or related HR functions with a strong track record in total rewards strategy.
  • Experience in multinational organizations is highly desirable.

Core Skills And Competencies

  • Proficient in analyzing complex data to generate actionable insights.
  • Expertise in creating compensation structures job evaluations and conducting market analyses particularly in the US and Europe.
  • Indepth knowledge of benefits administration including wellness and retirement plans in diverse markets.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build influence and collaborate across various organizational levels.
