Direct and manage the medical billing and coding office to maximize cash flow.
Oversee billing operations including coding charge entry claims submissions payment posting and accounts receivable followup.
Ensure compliance with Federal State and payer regulations.
Prepare and analyze financial and accounts receivable reports.
Supervise billing office personnel and ensure efficient billing and collections operations.
Requirements
Industry Experience: Minimum of 8 years in medical insurance and healthcare billing.
Management Experience: At least 510 direct reports.
Education: Bachelors degree in finance or accounting (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office medical billing and management.
Certifications: Certified Coder certificate is a plus.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical billing rules and regulations including Medicare MediCal and other insurances.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s Degree in Medical Technology, Laboratory Science, or a related field. Licensing: Valid CLS (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) license issued by the State of California Department of Health. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of training and/or experience in blood banking. Continuing Education: Able to complete 12 continuing education units annually, as required by licensing standards. Preferred Skills: Proficiency in laboratory information systems and familiarity with blood bank-specific software. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities. Excellent communication skills to effectively mentor staff and collaborate with medical and administrative teams. Ability to work independently and lead by example, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and commitment to patient safety.
