Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • APAC focal point for the Asset Integrity Management program.
  • Develop manage and sustain the program including the selection and implementation of any digital tools.
  • Ensure the roll out the program in the RBUs with help of BU Integrity leads and Operation teams.
  • Provide effective management and leadership to the RBUs integrity teams ensuring the personal and technical development of team members.
  • Supports the RBUs Integrity teams for the delivery of integrity management and any evaluation of inspection services for covered equipment devices & systems (e.g. pressure systems pipelines structures & safety instruments etc.) and the development of program strategy documentation risk assessments and written schemes of Examination.
  • Support RBUs with answering questions as they liaise effectively with support disciplines such as reliability process safety and technology experts in the company and the thirdparty specialist Corrosion Pipeline / Structural and Fitness for Service Engineers.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the RBUs Integrity teams define inspection requirements and ensure the utilization of appropriate inspection techniques. Maximize the use of appropriate and costeffective noninvasive inspection methodologies to provide optimized plant uptime.
  • Supports the RBU Integrity team for effective review of inspection data results trending and remnant life assessments perform fitnessforservice assessments and provide recommendations for repair and replacement methodologies.
  • Monitor and report asset process technical data including key asset integrity metrics to the internal stakeholders.
  • Support RBUs integrity teams in preparation of annual budgets.
  • Chair and attend frequent internal and contractor meetings as needed to support the RBUs presenting integrity management data and findings to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Develops dashboards to provide timely and accurate reports to the APAC Management team on a regular basis identifies any challenges and follows on recommended actions to be taken.
  • Ensure program activities in RBUs are performed in accordance with accreditation schemes (where required) legislation and industry standards and that program activities are performed in accordance with the health safety and environmental policy of the company
  • Audit the program project teams in RBUs on compliance.

Requirements:

  • Applicants for this position should have a relevant engineering degree preferably in Corrosion Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 1015 years of specific experience in Mechanical Integrity Management Risk Based Inspection and / InService Inspection (excluding purely NDT).
  • Must be willing to travel at least 15% within APAC and globally as needed.
  • Previously Lead Asset Integrity Engineer experience including acting in capacity of Technical Authority.
  • A wide breadth and depth of knowledge within the petrochemical inspection or engineering industry with proven skills in project management.
  • Experienced in qualifying and managing Service suppliers to support the Asset Integrity program elements
  • Experience and knowledge of integrity management software systems and digitalization tool is preferred
  • Thorough understanding of NDT techniques and inservice application of NDT.
  • Thorough knowledge of pressure vessel and pipe work design and inspection codes of practice.
  • A good level of commercial and financial awareness.
  • Knowledge of related standards / regulatory requirements. Plant inspection or API certification with associated experience.
  • Versatile and flexible team player with good verbal and written communication skills. Good command of English language is essential
