Job Description

Our clients company is a leading provider of cuttingedge automation solutions and industrial equipment empowering businesses to improve efficiency and productivity. They are currently seeking a Sales Engineer to drive business development efforts in the Seattle WA and East Bay CA regions. This hybrid role involves both inoffice and field work and it is designed for a professional with experience in automation industrial sales or related fields. As a Sales Engineer you will play a vital role in identifying new business opportunities collaborating with customers to develop automation solutions and contributing to the growth of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients focusing on automation and industrial equipment needs.
  • Collaborate with customers to design and implement customized automation solutions.
  • Utilize knowledge of electrical or pneumatic systems to support customer projects and provide technical expertise.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  • Stay informed about competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business with handson experience in automation or industrial equipment.
  • Associate degree with significant handson experience in related fields will also be considered.
  • Strong background in either electrical or pneumatic systems.
  • Proven experience in automation or industrial sales preferably working with competitors rather than customers.
  • Business development expertise and a demonstrated ability to build and grow client relationships.
