We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Development Manager to join our Wise Platform team in North America. In this role you will help deliver worldclass API payment solutions to some of the largest enterprises fintechs and digital platforms globallypowered by Wises cuttingedge infrastructure.
Wise Platform has successfully launched partnerships worldwide with industry leaders such as Morgan Stanley Google NuBank Ramp Deel and Mandiri connecting and powering 80 global banks and digital platforms through our technology stack.
We are looking for a seasoned business development leader with a proven track record of working with the largest digital platforms in North America and globally to take Wise Platform partnerships to the next level. The digital platforms vertical encompasses leading enterprise platforms across spend management workforce platforms marketplaces and ecommerce.
A bit about the role:
This role is based in our Austin office working alongside the Head of Business Development for North Americas digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with the North America Regional team and the Global Wise Platform teams across our offices worldwide. Additionally you will work with various functions including product management compliance and legal implementation and engineering.
As a senior member of our commercial team in North America and the platform partnerships vertical team globally you will own key opportunities with the largest corporations and financial platforms. You will drive initiatives to expand Wise Platforms capabilities and contribute to the growth of Wises infrastructure footprint in North America.
Qualifications :
What Youll Do:
Work with the Wise Platform team to build close and deliver a strong pipeline of enterprise platform partnerships in North America driving product innovation revenue and volume growth for Wise.
Support the digital platforms vertical team strategy for North America and globally.
Lead market analysis and identify emerging trends opportunities and potential threats to inform strategic decisionmaking.
Work on projects and initiatives to improve our strategy and approach both within the North America region and globally. This includes helping to iterate our product roadmap pricing strategies gotomarket efforts and anything else that drives growth.
Represent Wise and Wise Platform at industry events and conferences as the spokesperson for our enterprise platform vertical.
About You:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in payments with a strong focus on international payments for the largest enterprise platforms in North America.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies and driving significant revenue growth.
Familiarity with the financial services and regulatory landscapes in North America and understanding how they impact international payments across spend management workforce platforms and marketplaces.
Able to independently negotiate the most ideal terms with a clear product vision and understanding in mind figuring out the ideal operational and commercial process with every new partner.
Youre handson happy to lead your own discussions and support our business development team with building a strong pipeline.
Youre as comfortable technically helping a partner solution the best way to use Wise Platform as you are discussing commercial and legal terms.
