Trevor Frances Recruitment is proud to represent our client a dynamic Film & TV studio based in Newmarket in their search for an Accounting & Office Administrator. This fulltime role provides an excellent opportunity for growth within a creative and fastpaced industry.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices ensuring timely approvals.
- Enter invoices bills and payments into QuickBooks.
- Assist with cheque runs for corporate and production accounting.
- Support monthend reconciliations as well as quarter and yearend processes.
- Respond to inquiries via email and phone.
- Manage general office administration including ordering supplies scheduling meetings coordinating courier services and overseeing daytoday operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with data entry Excel QuickBooks payroll accounts payable and accounts receivable is an asset (training is available).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate reliability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer serviceoriented with the ability to manage workload fluctuations.
- High school diploma required; postsecondary education in business administration or accounting is an asset.
- Familiarity with accounting software Microsoft Office and banking portals is beneficial.
