Job Description

Payroll Administrator
Location: Port Coquitlam B.C.
Salary: $60K

Our well established client in Port Coquitlam is seeking a permanent Payroll Administrator to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity in a company with a great culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and administer full cycle multiprovincial semimonthly Canadian and US payroll.

Perform manual data entry and maintenance of the payroll system including new hires employee updates terminations garnishments and medical leaves etc.

Onboarding administration including preparing and sending job offers welcome communication and initial paperwork

Job posting administration phone interviews and coordinating interviews with hiring manager

Process changes to benefits coverage including new enrollments coverage changes and terminations

Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries from employees managers and various external parties

Process commission payments to salespeople


Qualifications:

Certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP)

Minimum 2 years multiprovince payroll experience with over 200 employees and some accounting experience

Familiar with Ceridian Dayforce is an asset

Proficient in MS Office
