Job Description

We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient Profit Centre Administrator to join our team in Vancouver Canada. In this role you will be responsible for managing various administrative and financial tasks to ensure smooth operations of our profit center. 

  • Handle all aspects of paperwork including shipping feedback cash sale transactions banking and report reconciliation
  • Process and reconcile daily cash transactions prepare bank deposits and submit deposit paperwork
  • Provide accurate and timely invoicing of customer shipments
  • Assist in customer service including answering phone inquiries
  • Obtain review verify and enter purchase and expense vendor invoices into the system
  • Investigate and resolve customer vendor credit and support center inquiries in a timely manner
  • Enter customer credit notes and vendor debits in the system
  • Reconcile petty cash and cash sheets daily
  • Update information in financial software systems
  • Support all profit center activities as part of the collaborative team
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all customer locations and within the profit center
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college or university degree is an asset
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service accounts payable accounts receivable or a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge of basic accounts receivable/payable bookkeeping practices and terms
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent relationshipbuilding skills with customers vendors and teammates
  • Ability to prioritize work projects and multitask effectively
  • Intermediate math skills
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliation
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Willingness to learn and operate applicable software systems for order processing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products
  • Experience using Trend and Eclipse software


Additional Information :

Salary Range: $41000$45000/year
