Let us describe the challenge we offer
The Polestar Head of Marketing will be the primary point of contact for all marketing activities relating to the brand in Korea market. We are seeking a creative innovative experienced and handson professional to lead and drive Polestar Koreas marketing strategy. You will also collaborate with Global HQ to ensure brand consistency across the country and execute new initiatives and programs in alignment with our global marketing strategy. Youll be responsible for successful product launches and strengthening consumer awareness and consideration of Polestar directly impacting sales.
What youll do
Marketing Strategy
- Grow the Polestar brand in Korea drive brand awareness consideration and relevance amongst target audiences.
- Develop the Korea marketing strategy consistent with the overall Global marketing strategy and implement roadmap.
- Drive a salesoriented approach across all aspects of the business together with stakeholders.
- Manage and oversee the local budget and spend each calendar year.
Activation and Campaigns
- Lead develop and execute consumer communications across all channels.
- Maintain a performance measurement framework across marketing platforms for continuous improvement
- Responsible for financial planning and reporting (paired with KPI framework to deliver campaign attribution / ROI measurement)
- Develop specific brand and tactical campaigns to generate and maintain high levels of consumer interest ultimately driving consumer conversions.
- Be handson with media including digital activation while overseeing CRM social media creators events and .com and retail marketing (ex: space activation).
People
- Work crossfunctionally on tasks and projects with teams and stakeholders
- Lead agency partner relationships to drive the innovative thoughtful work that meets overall objectives.
Who you are
- 15 years of experience in marketing (incl. 8 years of experience in senior marketing level roles) leading strategic decisions.
- Experience working in a multimarket global organization.
- Must be passionate and enthusiastic about sustainability and electric vehicles.
- Strong and proven leadership experience in marketing management.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing communication programs in traditional digital and social landscapes.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to comfortably work with CLevel leadership across the organizations.
- Strong quantitative and quantitative analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills: a collaborative ethos and the ability to effectively interact with and influence a diverse group of people.
- Fluent in English
In this role you will be based in our Seoul office and report directly to and work closely together with the Polestar Korea Managing Director. Our inhouse talents and teams in the Swedish headquarters will be important sparring partners for you and of course you will be interacting closely with our agency network.
