Location: Hybrid Westlake TX or Ashburn VA

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Python Data Engineer with a strong background in Python development and data engineering. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Python development experience and expertise in data processing transformation and optimization. This role requires working in a hybrid model at our Westlake TX or Ashburn VA locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop maintain and optimize data pipelines using Python.
Design and implement scalable data architectures to support business needs.
Work with large datasets and ensure efficient data processing.
Collaborate with data scientists analysts and software engineers to enhance data workflows.
Ensure data integrity quality and security best practices are followed.
Optimize SQL and NoSQL database queries for performance improvements.
Automate data ingestion and transformation processes.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
3 years of handson Python development experience in a data engineering environment.
Strong experience with ETL pipelines data integration and transformation.
Proficiency in working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL MySQL or SQL Server).
Experience with big data technologies such as Spark Hadoop or Kafka.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and data services.
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a hybrid setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).
Familiarity with data governance and compliance best practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data applications.
