Job Description
Duties: The Software Engineer at Adtalem Global Education Inc. reporting to HQ in Chicago IL will be responsible for implementation maintenance performance tuning and capacity management for all organizational software and systems. Provide software application delivery support and mentoring for Associate Software Engineers. Design and implement software solutions to meet business requirements and technical specifications. Analyze project needs and requirements and recommend solutions to enable enterprise integration. Develop and implement software solutions standards processes and security. Collaborate with product managers architects quality assurance testers and other stakeholders to gather and refine software requirements and developments. Maintain and enhance existing software applications through bug fixes and feature enhancements. Maintain expertise in higher education software products emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software products and practices. Attend vendor trainings conferences and presentations for continuing skills development. Train and mentor team members and other technical resources. 100% telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the US. Annual Salary: $103545 to $124254
Qualifications :
Requirements: Masters degree or equivalent in computer science information systems or a related field plus 1 year of experience with software engineering including experience with each of the following: (1) Java Node JS React JS or TypeScript (2) Microsoft SQL Server Oracle MySQL PL/SQL or MongoDB (3) Hybrid cloud technologies including AWS Azure and Google Cloud Platform; (4) Agile methodologies; (5) SOAP or REST; (6) Git SVN or Bitbucket; (7) AzureDevOps Jenkins or Gitlab; (8) Mulesoft or TIBCO; and (9) JUnit.
