SAP Security and Authorizations Consultant

ARHS Group part of Accenture is looking for an SAP Security and Authorizations Consultant in relation to a highlevel expertise integration project for one of its clients at the EU Institutions in Brussels.

Nature of the tasks

• Collaborating with business/functional analysts to produce software solutions.
• Providing input into the design of enhancements and roll outs offering advice and providing feedback.
• Analysis of user / functional requirements. Drafting documentation (technical and functional). Translating functional requirements into technical specifications including documentation for the support team. Prepares detailed technical specifications for development activities including enhancement interfaces workflows forms reports and data management.
• Workforce estimations.
• Programming IT software (IT development). Developing quality code and its associated documentation adhering to team and departmental development standards. Customization.
• Prototyping of IT systems modules and components. Customization.
• Testing code (unit testing and integration testing) to ensure it produces the desirable results and performs debugging when necessary. Validation of solutions.
• Assisting with the evaluation and testing of products delivered by external system suppliers so as to ensure their compliance with the project specifications and required methodology if any.
• Providing support including analysis development testing tracking and resolution.
• Assisting the support team with the training of system users.
• Participation in meetings with the end users.
• Troubleshooting debugging diagnosis user support. Assisting the support team with the training of system users.

Description of the tasks

• Administration of SAP systems covering installation/setup patching migration configuration transporting monitoring and tuning troubleshooting incidents in SAP and in systems linked to SAP and managing permissions authorizations and user rights.
• Functional analysis within the field of finance and budgetary execution; analyzing testing documenting and supporting information systems in close cooperation with business owners and representatives system architects IT and support staff.
• Contributing to project management: planning to definition of work plans and deliverables organization of quality control risk management change management.
• Contributing to the modelling of the business processes business rules and design of data object models in relationship to roles and responsibilities. Keep the RASCI matrices up to date.
• Liaising with business owners business management including senior management and experts in budgetary management and accounting.
• Liaising with the technical design teams to ensure that the information systems implement the best solution for the business owners.
• Performing functional testing and/or liaise with the test team to help ensuring that business and functional requirements enter the test stream correctly.
• Drafting summaries statistics reports and briefing notes and contribute to strategic documents.
• Providing information and training sessions to users support teams and management.

Qualifications :

Your profile

• University degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent by experience
• ClientMinded.
• Ability to participate in multilingual meetings capability to communicate clearly and appropriately both spoken and in writing in English. French or German optional but welcome.
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments

Knowledge and skills

• Expert knowledge of Linear programming (scripting) and of ObjectOriented programming concepts and paradigms (encapsulation inheritance polymorphism).
• Expert Knowledge of one of the fundamental programming languages available in SAP HANA XS Advanced runtime: HTML5 Node.js (JavaScript) Java C# C Python etc.
• Expert Knowledge of Eventdriven programming and of MVC (or MVVMBinding) programming.
• Expert at commenting code concisely yet comprehensively.
• Working Knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) Structured Query language (SQL).
• Expert Knowledge of Debugging and testing including stress testing of your own code.
• Good ability to draft technical documentation.
• Good ability to work with nonmonolithic largescale corporate systems.
• Working knowledge of architecture models including Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Message Oriented Middleware (MOM).
• Working knowledge of interoperability concepts: messaging service bus queuing.
• Expert knowledge of Web Services (REST & underlying concepts such as idempotence including oData).
• Expert Knowledge of Extensible Markup Language (XML) and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON).
• Working knowledge of a source control systems: Git or Subversion (SVN)
• Working knowledge of a code collaboration tool such as Gerrit.
• Good knowledge of software modelling (e.g. UML BPMN entityrelationship diagrams);
• Knowledge of a software development methodologies (e.g. SAP Activate RUP AGILE SCRUM SAP ASAP).

At least one of the following is required

• Expertise in traditional SAP ERP development integration and test tools like ABAP ABAP Objects ABAP WorkBench ABAP performance tuning Dynpro SQL Trace RFC iDoc/ALE BAPI SAP Workflow testing with eCATT and within Solution Manager;
• Expertise in nontraditional SAP development integration and test tools like SAP NetWeaver SAP Web AS SAP Process Integration (PI) SAP J2EE Java Web DynPro WSDL Web services;
• Expertise with SAP Fiori and SAP S4/Hana;
• Good knowledge of the design and development of web and multitier applications;
• Expertise in any one of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS): SAP HANA DB Oracle Microsoft SQL Server PostgreSQL or SQLite.
