Job Description
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
Higher secondary education and intermediate vocational training which might lead to a formal qualification with 6 years of experience or a secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 8 years post related experience
6 or more years of experience in system administration of Microsoftbased or UNIXbased operating system environments
Practical experience in firewall and network proxy configuration and administration
Practical experience in web application firewalls and network intrusion / prevention systems
Practical experience in implementing and maintaining cloud services and secure access services edge
Practical experience in implementing and maintaining cloud based DDOS and web application firewall protection
DUTIES/ROLE:
Assist in implementation and administration of Cyber Security related policies settings and tools
Provide support level 2 support for INF051 related services including: Secure Web Proxies Web Application Firewalls Email Gateways Remote Access VPN DNS and DHCP
Routinely serve as CISS representative in the ESOC
Provide assistance to other work centres within NISC as needed
Other related duties as required
