Role Overview:
As an Insurance Manager you will be responsible for managing and overseeing our insurance operations ensuring that our policies and services meet the highest standards of quality. You will lead a team develop strategies to enhance business growth and ensure the delivery of excellent customer service. Your fluency in French will be vital as you will be interacting with Frenchspeaking clients and stakeholders regularly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the insurance department ensuring policies and services are delivered efficiently.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the insurance team ensuring they meet performance targets and maintain high standards.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth and profitability in the insurance business.
- Oversee the acquisition and retention of Frenchspeaking clients by maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to insurance products and services.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to insurance policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to stay competitive and innovative in the industry.
- Handle complex customer inquiries and resolve issues or escalations promptly and professionally.
- Provide training and development to team members to enhance their skills and product knowledge.
- Report regularly to senior management on team performance business developments and market insights.
Requirements:
- Native French speaker or C2level proficiency in French (both written and spoken).
- Proven experience in an insurance management role or similar leadership position.
- Strong understanding of insurance products policies and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a team effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proven track record of achieving business objectives and targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) to communicate with nonFrench speaking stakeholders.
