Job Description
We are looking for a Risk Officer to join our clients team. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer the selected candidate will be assisting in preparing the ICAAP/ILAAP/BRRD preparing internal risk reports to the Board of Directors of the Bank reviewing customer credit risk business risk etc.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a bank offering banking services to international corporate clients and is located in Sliema Malta.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting in preparing the ICAAP/ILAAP/BRRD.
- Assisting in Pillar 3 disclosures on risk.
- Assisting in preparing internal risk reports to the Board of Directors of the Bank.
- Assisting in preparing the Risk Appetite Statement/Risk Register/Risk Management Report.
- Monitoring of risk appetite thresholds/KFIs/KRIs etc.
- Maintaining and updating of borrowing customers collateral information on the Banks core system.
- Preparing the quarterly Credit Risk Report.
- Reviewing customer credit risk.
- Reviewing of Risk related frameworks policies and procedures of the Bank.
- ESG Risk monitoring and reporting.
- DORA risk management and reporting.
- Assessment of outsourcing arrangements.
- Monitoring and management of the Bank s investment portfolio.
- Monitoring and management of the Bank s holding in EU ETS Certificates.
- Assisting other departments with daytoday operations.
- Other riskrelated tasks.
EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
- Good knowledge of Banking.
- Very good command of the English language.
- You are a team player selfmotivated and able to work independently.
- You are able to deliver tasks effectively in a timely manner and according to deadlines set.
- You possess excellent inter and intrapersonal skills.
- You are able to work under pressure.
EDUCATION
An academic qualification in Risk or Banking.
WORKING HOURS
Flexibility in starting time from 06:30 till 09:00 40 hours per week with 30 minutes break daily.
