About Us
We are a global provider of business management software serving a diverse client base across various industries. With over two decades of consistent growth and success we are expanding our presence and are seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to support our strategic initiatives.
The Opportunity
As a Corporate Development Analyst you will be a key contributor to our M&A strategy assisting in all phases of the process including business development due diligence and integration planning. Your analytical expertise and ability to assess opportunities will play a critical role in identifying and executing transactions that align with our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with deal leads and business unit partners to maintain and refine strategic priorities.
- Work with internal and external partners to manage and update the North American deal target database.
- Conduct research and preliminary analysis on potential acquisition targets evaluating strategic alignment and financial performance.
- Prepare pipeline status reports and updates on active deals.
- Develop deal presentations and supporting materials for internal and external reviews.
- Build preliminary financial models to evaluate potential transactions.
- Support planning and coordination of due diligence activities across multiple workstreams.
- Assist with postclose integration planning and track performance metrics.
- Perform adhoc analyses and reporting to support decisionmaking.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Business Economics Finance Accounting or a related analytical discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in M&A investment banking private equity or corporate development.
- Proficiency in financial analysis modeling and forecasting particularly in an M&A context.
Preferred:
- Masters degree in Business Economics Finance Accounting or a related analytical discipline.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central time zones for optimal collaboration.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
