Job Description
- Provide executive governance for complex Transition and Transformation programs from development to implementation including oversight of multiple global workgroups.
- Matrixmanage all project resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Act as the primary executive point of contact for customers.
- Document and communicate processes ensuring efficiency for the project.
- Oversee all Transition and Transformation planning execution reporting and escalation management.
- Define and manage deliverables to meet clients financial and operational goals.
- Develop and manage deliverables comparing plan vs. actual.
- Participate in and lead organizational initiatives where applicable.
- Translate functional and operational goals into actionable team objectives.
- Recommend solutions and manage complex changes.
- Develop departmental initiatives and provide leadership.
- Coach and mentor individual project managers and larger groups.
- Engage and present at the final stage before contract signing.
- Oversee project financial management.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills proactive in customer and team interactions.
- Excellent time management organizational skills and the ability to set priorities.
- Analytical capabilities for project data validation and reporting.
- Interpersonal skills to coach and mentor teams with a resultsoriented mindset.
- Proficiency in tools like MS Office (Excel PowerPoint Outlook) Google Suite SharePoint Adobe and Webex.
- Familiarity with project management systems for task and time management.
Certifications:
- Mandatory: Prince2 Practitioner PMP or equivalent.
- Preferred: ITIL V4 Foundations or equivalent.
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum 9 years of overall experience.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in US/European telecom OR
- 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in another domain.
