About This Job
We are looking for a Delivery Manager to lead and oversee complex projects ensuring successful execution and alignment with business goals. This role requires strong project management skills stakeholder engagement and expertise in Agile methodologies. You will play a key role in driving crossfunctional collaboration mitigating risks and delivering highquality solutions on time.
What Youll Do
Project Initiation Planning Execution and Closing
- Develop and manage detailed project plans including scope timelines budgets and risk mitigation strategies.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success.
- Manage project resources effectively including budget allocation and team assignments.
- Identify and address potential risks and issues proactively.
Stakeholder Management
- Communicate project status risks and issues to all stakeholders including executive leadership global and regional teams business units and external vendors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Align stakeholder expectations with project goals and deliverables.
Scrum Master Duties
- Facilitate daily Scrum meetings sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
- Remove impediments to the teams progress and ensure smooth workflows.
- Coach the team on Agile principles and practices.
- Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Foster a collaborative and highperforming team environment.
- Motivate and guide the project team to achieve goals.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration among team members.
Qualifications :
Experience
- At least 3 years of development experience for engineers or 5 years in technical project management.
- Experience managing complex eCommerce platform migrations or similar largescale projects.
- Involvement in management designing and testing of such projects is a major plus.
Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies specifically Scrum.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g. Jira Confluence) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Communication
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills in both English and Japanese (businesslevel fluency required).
Personality
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate crossfunctional teams.
Additional Information :
Contract: 1year contract with the potential for renewal.
Location: Tokyo
Working Model: Hybrid (3 days inoffice per week or as per business needs).
