What you will be doing:
- Generate 3D project models in our production integrated design software
- Roof / Floor and Truss framing design and placement diagrams
- Create additional production and assembly documents such as wall panel and truss elevations bottom plate views rake assembly list ship loose framing material lists and other cutting documents
Experience you will need:
- 2year residential design or architectural engineering degree
- Minimum of 25 years of design framing experience
- MiTek software experience
- MiTek project setup and layout truss wall/floor design
- MiTek software experience
- Truss design knowledge: heel heights truss design standards and sizing
- Wall/Floor design knowledge: panel layout/ structuring and numbering
- Calculations: Ability to calculate beam & Ijoists
- Production processes and understanding of workflow
- Advanced design of residential construction and materials
