Are you an experienced Retail Manager or senior Fresh Manager in your store or business Blue Forge Recruitment is partnering with one of Irelands largest supermarket chains who is hiring for a senior manager who thrives on pressure and demonstrate excellent leadership capabilities. Our client is a national retail supermarket chain that have a number of awardwinning highend shops with large teams in their stores.
In this job as a Senior Fresh Food Duty Manager you will be solely responsible for managing a number of large fresh food departments with approximately 2530 members of staff under your management. We are looking for a passionate food retailer someone highly experienced in a shop setting who can lead teams organise and achieve results in a high pressured and fast paced retail environment with high customer expectations.
Our client will offer a salary from 41000 up to 48000 DOE plus attractive benefits like staff discount bonus and healthcare incentive.
The requirements for this Retail Fresh Manager Job:
- An ambitious senior retail manager or senior shop Supervisor who has worked in retail for several years ideally in a large and busy fast paced shop or supermarket convenience stores setting with fresh foods
- Must have extensive knowledge of food safety HACCP passing fresh department audits training colleagues on maintaining high standards in food safety compliance
- Commercially astute to have a strong understanding of shop or department financial results accessing financial data in EPOS systems
- Must be a passionate people person who thrives on developing and managing staff in an effective way to achieve maximum productivity and drive standards in your departments
- Capable of managing multiple projects or tasks at one time using your resources and team to achieve overall success in your areas.
- Good overall shop awareness excellent customer service ability to handle customer complaints in a professional manner and represent the retail brand well
- Excellent organizational skills
Responsibilities for this Retail Fresh Manager Job:
- Ensuring your assigned departments run smoothly maintaining the high standards expected of the brand developing your areas with ideas and creativity to add flair
- Leading your department and colleagues to achieve maximum results in profitability sales growth and controlling costs without affecting service or customer experience
- Maintaining the stock levels of your retail departments overseeing promotional cycles in a smooth fashion and maintaining waste or stock loss
- Operate as an effective leader among your team developing and coaching your teams to improve skills motivating your teams increase harmony within your departments and bring any grievances or conflicts to a conclusion in a professional manner
- Covering shop minding duties till close typically once/twice weekly depending on management availability
