Job Description

ID Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager with a reputable car dealership located in Ballinrobe Co. Mayo.


The successful candidate will lead the sales team and drive success across the multifranchise car dealership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Duties and responsibilities include;

  • Team Leadership: Manage motivate and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed individual and dealership sales targets. Foster a positive and highperformance culture within the team
  • Sales Strategy & Performance: Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue profitability and market share. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure sales goals are met
  • Customer Experience: Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service at every stage of the sales process. Address and resolve customer queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Inventory Management: Work closely with the dealership management team to ensure an optimal level of stock across all brands. Oversee vehicle ordering and ensure the right mix of new and used cars is available.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute promotions and events that drive showroom traffic and increase sales. Represent the dealership at industry and community events to build brand awareness.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and internal policies. Maintain uptodate knowledge of automotive products market trends and relevant legislation

Skills and experience;

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales with at least 2 years in a management role
  • Experience in multifranchise dealerships is a strong advantage
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers team members and brand partners
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
  • Indepth understanding of the automotive industry including vehicle sales processes and trends
  • Knowledge of financing and insurance products is advantageous
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Relevant qualifications in business sales or a related field are desirable but not essential
