Are you an experienced Retail Supervisor or senior Shop Assistant with managerial responsibilities such as key holding stock ordering or staff training responsibilities Blue Forge Recruitment is partnering with one of Irelands largest supermarket chains which is hiring for a shop Supervisor Manager or Trainee Retail Manager who is interested in joining a larger retail operation that will offer more career opportunities and enhance your managerial experience.
Our client is a national retail supermarket chain that has a number of awardwinning highend shops with large teams in their stores. As a Shop Supervisor you will be assigned to various departments in the shop and learn from the best retailers in the country to help you grow your financial acumen and merchandising skills also how to be more effective in your role as a retail manager controlling large amounts of stock running the store occasionally on your own and taking responsibility for large teams who will be under your supervision.
This is an excellent retail brand to have on your CV but plenty of room to move up the ranks for high performers who want to take on bigger roles in this large company.
Our client will offer a salaryDOE plus benefits 39 hour contract overtime at time and a half.
The requirements for this Grocery Senior Trainee Manager Job:
- An ambitious shop Supervisor or Duty Manager who has worked in retail like Grocery supermarkets or convenience stores
- Must have knowledge of HACCP customer service and be eager to enhance your retail experience in a bigger store other retail environments will be considered.
- Should have a passion for customer service working in a busy shop environment and thrive on responsibility
- Good organizational skills
- Be able to work within a team and on your own initiative.
- Our client offers a flexible and fair roster for all managers you will be required to be flexible to work mornings and evenings shifts weekends and one to two evenings weekly given the nature of the retail trade
Responsibilities for this Grocery Senior Trainee Manager Job:
- Shop minding ensuring the store runs smoothly when on duty maintaining the standards and supervising colleagues work
- Working closely with your Department Managers to control stock levels running promotional cycles smoothly maintaining availability in your departments and ensuring merchandising is to a high standard
- Play an active role in staff management developing and coaching teams under you developing your managerial experience in how to be a better motivator and communicator within your team taking an active role in conflict resolution and performance management.
- Have an active role in KPI and target management
